La journee internationale de la femme est celebree le 08 mars chaque annee.

MESSAGE

It’s my pleasure to welcome you on behalf of the Board of Trustees, members and staff of Mother and Child Care (MACC). MACC was established in Dakar, Senegal in 2009 to be able to join other organizations in the world such as OXFAM, WORLDVISION, ACTIONAID, TOSTAN, PLAN, CRS, OPERATION BLESSING INTERNATIONAL e.t.c to make a difference in the lives of people, especially in Africa, where poverty, war, diseases, HIV/AIDS, etc have ravaged millions of families and still on rampage. There is no doubt about it, children and their mothers need serious help to survive, be it in health, food, security, Education, etc. We live here in Africa and feel it, been silent and not taking actions only ignites and fuels the problems, that’s why, we as young women, mothers and also fathers, brothers and sisters have come together to redefine our destinies and those of others by making frantic efforts to change our lives especially for mothers and children in the rural communities of Africa. In as much as we know that the tasks we have elected to accomplish are not easy, we are very much convinced that with you, the job is half done. You can help as member or a donor, no amount is too small. As a member or donor, your support will help us: - Raise funds to set-up community-based center for food and nutrition. - Raise funds to pay medical bills for those who cannot afford it. - Raise funds to help children for their education. - Collect cloths and food items and share them to poor families that need them. - Organizing activities that will raise funds. There are one thousand and one ways your support will help us many activities in the rural community where we work.
